Third Street South
Naples has quite a few dining and shopping areas that are must visits while in the area. These include Waterside Shops, Mercato, Tin City, and Fifth Avenue. Another of these spots is Third Street South. It’s located in downtown Naples, within walking distance to the Pier. Many of Naples’ top restaurants are located on this street. These include Barbatella, The Continental, Sea Salt, Ridgway Bar and Grill, and more. One of Naples’ best bakeries, Tony’s Off Third, is also located on Third Street.
Not only is Third Street South a heaven for foodies, its collection of shops will have you breaking out your wallet multiple times. From fashion and jewelry to art galleries and salons. Find everything for your home, garden, and wardrobe.
Third Street South even has its own farmers market. The Third Street Farmer’s Market takes place every Saturday from 7:30am to 11:30am. It is one of the few year-round markets in Naples. Vendors sell everything from fruits and vegetables to cheese to dog treats and crafts. The market is located at the parking lot behind Tommy Bahama. Here is a list of all the current vendors at the market.
Make a day of visiting the beach and Pier, then walk over to Third Street South for a bit of shopping or dining. You may need to come back a few times to taste all the Third Street’s restaurants have to offer.
