Healthiest County in State

Within the past month or so there have been a slew of good news coming out of our area. Naples ranked as the city with the highest well-being, and we recently found out that Southwest Florida has a lower unemployment rate than the national average.

Now we find out that Collier County has ranked as the second healthiest county in the state for the third year running, according to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The Foundation takes many things into account in their rankings including: longevity, overall mental and physical health, and premature death.
